Friday, 12/1/23 - Christmas Party @ 6pm

We will be playing several games. If you want to participate, please bring the following:

• FQ of Christmas fabric
• FQ of any fabric
• stuff a pair of sock with $10 worth of goodies.

We will have a potluck meal and I'll start taking sign ups at the November meeting, posting the menu here as it evolves.

Sarah will arrive at noon with the key to "sneak" us in to the store for the day!

Biennial ACWC Quilt show - 

9/2023 - I think the show has been a hit - all such lovely projects. 

9/2024 - 695 days until our next show! It's time to think of a theme so we can get a good start on the quilts.

Friday 9/1 - 5pm - we are setting up the quilt show at the Arts Council

 1. If you are unable to attend please get me your quilt ASAP so that it can still be included.

 2. I need your names/address/quilt name(s) ASAP so that name tags can be made for the show.

Saturday, 9/2 - 10-12:15 - Demo at Perry Farm Market

 1. Please bring showntell to hang on the clothes line, your chair and a project to work on. Bring your own table if you like.

 2. Bring a fork if you want to eat one of those massive cinnamon rolls. Hahahaha.

 1. Please let me know what food item you would like to bring for the reception. Menu will be updated on the blog as I get info. Remember that we don't need large platters of food from each person.

 2. Share the reception deets with all your quilty friends so we can have a nice large crowd

-As many of you know, Claudia's sister Gretchen died as the result of an MVA during fair week: https://www.thebatavian.com/obituaries/636157/gretchen-e-von-kramer-pittman. 

-Claudia is going to host a celebration of G's life at the Quilter's Daughter on Thursday, 8/31 from 12-5pm. 

-We will discuss a group donation in September, after we get the quilt show settled.
