Anyone interested in doing a RWB group project for the 250th Anniversary, especially since our demo is 7/4? I'm not expecting it to be done by the demo but it could be fun to work on the same/similar projects. We could each make a personal project or everyone makes a few blocks towards a group quilt. I'm thinking star blocks (Paper Pieces has tons of choices). Give me your thoughts and if I should narrow down the star options...

Hexie Club - NY Day Party - 1/1/26

CANCELLED

Due to the weather there have been quite a number of cancelled attendees so it makes more sense to cancel it. 

Thursday, 1/1/26 @ noon

In celebration of the New Year, we will hold a potluck luncheon and play games! Don't forget to bring some stitching too!

Sarah will unlock the front door at noon and then we can stay as long as we like!

Please bring the following for games:
--- (8) 5" squares of fabric - hit up those scrap bins!

--- (8) fat eighths (half a fat quarter or ~9x22")

Biennial ACWC Quilt show -

9/2025 - 0 days until our next show!

I gave our proposed 2026 quilt show dates to ACWC on 9/16/25 and was asked to give her some time as she sets the schedule for next year. I was hoping to get that date first and then contact GO Arts. We shall see how long I wait...

Games: 

• Mug game - bring a mug (holiday or not) filled with $10 worth of goodies and we will do an exchange game.
• Bingo - bring 6 fat eighths. A fat eighth is a fat quarter cut in half or ~9x22".
• Bingo - bring 2 or 3 writing utensils in different colors (pens, markers, daubers, etc)
