Pear Salad

Pear Salad -- from Sue Chiddy

 

1 small package lemon jello 

Can of pears - 16 ounce ( heavy or light syrup) 

Pear juice drained from pears and mixed with water to make 1 ½ cups liquid 

Dash of salt 

6 ounces cream cheese, cubed and softened 

8 ounces Cool Whip 

 

In a small saucepan, bring pear juice and water to a boil. Place the liquid, lemon jello and salt in a blender, blend. Add pears and cream cheese, blend. Add Cool Whip, blend. Pour into a bowl and chill until firm.
